I, Bethany Simmons, founded Bridge the Gap for Kids to follow my mission to enhance educational outcomes through tailored curriculum development, student assessments, and hands-on teacher support. By designing targeted intervention plans and fostering inclusive learning environments, I ensure every child has the tools to succeed.

Why Bridge the Gap for Kids?
Bridge the Gap for Kids was founded with a deep commitment to helping families and educators lead with empathy, understanding, and intentional support. More than just an educational service, this organization integrates behavioral analysis, early education, and individualized learning strategies to ensure children receive the comprehensive support they need—both in school and at home.

As a director, managing a team of diverse teachers can be challenging, but working with Bridge the Gap for Kids gave me tools and strategies I needed to lead with confidence. Bethany helped me understand the importance of communicating to the families and the teachers more frequently. Bethany helped me be able to support my teachers in the classroom with understanding children's behaviors in the classrooms, give the teachers a place to speak up about collaboration ideas, as well as being seen as a human before a teacher. Since myself and the assistant director have been implementing these strategies we have seen a significant improvement in staff morale, classroom performance, and we have watched the retention rate decrease.
